The brief

A trilingual corporate site for a hardwood and Thermowood producer operating since 1999. Deep product catalogue, application-led navigation, and brand storytelling aimed at architects and contractors.

Başaran Orman imports hardwood and manufactures heat-treated Thermowood in Yalova. Their buyers are architects, contractors and site managers who arrive knowing an application — decking, facade cladding, sauna, garden structures — but not necessarily a species. The navigation is built around that: you enter by what you are building, then narrow to material.

The catalogue covers species and profiles with the technical detail that audience expects — dimensions, treatments, use cases — presented as a browsable system rather than a downloadable PDF. Each application page carries real project photography, so the material is seen installed rather than as a sample chip.

The brand story matters commercially here: a quarter-century of continuous operation is the trust signal that wins a specification. It runs through the site rather than sitting on an About page.

The catalogue ships in three languages — Turkish, English and Arabic — because the buyer is as likely to be a Gulf importer as a Turkish contractor. Each language is a real localised tree with its own URLs and hreflang tags rather than a machine-translated overlay, and the Arabic build runs a mirrored RTL layout.

What shipped

  • Three languages — Turkish, English and Arabic, with a mirrored RTL layout
  • hreflang-tagged language trees so each locale ranks on its own
  • Application-led navigation — deck, facade, sauna, garden
  • Structured species and profile catalogue with technical specs
  • Installed-project photography instead of material swatches
  • Brand narrative built around 25+ years of operation
